The name in english is rockwool and comes from the fact that the zone lies next to [https://www.paroc.fi/ Paroc's Rockwool factory] and [https://www.parocpanels.com/fi-fi Paroc Panelsystem]. Two of the bigger employers in town. Once the same company but today the two factories have different owners.
