Round winners – August (Round #182)
Congratulations to the winners of round August 2025: Király from Skåne added one more Gold to his medal row, Fashven from Scotland secured his fourth Silver and birdbrain15 from North West England took home the Bronze. Well done mates!

Bonanza 2026 – September 5th 2026 in Gothenburg Sweden
The date is now set for next year's Bonanza. The turfers of Gothenburg have decided on the first Saturday of September, let's hope it will be as nice as it's been this year :) Information about the Bonanza can be found HERE (in Swedish) and HERE (in English).
The Ultimate Region Fight 2025
9 Regions/countries are taking part in the ultimate region fight 2025 and you can follow the fight at Turfportalen, click HERE. Points are awarded in three different categories: takes, points and round unique zones. Each week points are awarded in each category and the winner is crowned at the end of the September round. May the best region/country win!
Halloween 2025 – Hamburg, Germany: Friday the 31st of October
A spooky private Event is being organized in Hamburg, Germany on Halloween. It will take place in Ohlsdorf Cemetery, the world's biggest Park cemetery. Since it is a private Event, you will need to pre-register and you can do it HERE. The German organizer would like to welcome all turfers to Hamburg for the event. Last year it had to be canceled due to too few participants. It would be sad if the same thing would happen this year. Short promotion film HERE as part of @turfen_in_deutschland on Instagram.
New Turfer SingingC
It is never too late to become a turfer. SingingC is proof of that. In July 2025 she finally downloaded the app and this is her words about it:
”After being a Turf hang-around for several years I finally decided to join mid-July 2025 and I haven’t regretted that decision for a second. I’ve biked, walked, swum and climbed with a smile on my face. I’ve also revisited places from my childhood in my local area and explored new ones. What a great way to exercise and explore new places!”
