Galtåsen is a turfzone in the municipality of Ulricehamn in the region of Västra Götaland in Sweden and it is counted as a summit zone
Placement[edit]
This zone is placed on the top of the mountain Galtåsen in the central parts of the municipality of Ulricehamn, about 13 km east of the town Ulricehamn.
Directions[edit]
From Ulricehamn take the swedish national road 40 towards Jönköping, after about 7 km turn right toward Kinnared. Follow the road for 1,8 km and take a left, there is a sign but it is hard to find. Continue 700 meters and take a left, then continue another 500 meters turn left again and you will find the parking lot in about 250 meters. From here there will be a marked trail (orange color) to the zone, there is a table by the zone where you can drink your coffee.

The summit zone and highest oint for the Region Västra Götaland and province of Västergötland that is 361,4 over the sea level.
