Rules
During a Bonanza, special rules apply (same as at an open event).
The regular zones are replaced with brand new ones that no one knows where they are before the competition starts. The participants only get to know which area the game will be performed in. Any zones that were within the competition area before the start are temporarily removed while the competition is in progress.
The competition zones have a different score than normal zones: 60 Points per hour (PPH) and 10 Takeover points (TP). That is one point per minute as long as you keep a zone. The zones also have a block time of 3 minutes and require 30 seconds of takeover time regardless of the participant's rank and any bonuses they normally have.
Everyone who participates receives a participant medal. The three who have collected the most points will instead receive a medal in the corresponding denomination and prizes that have been arranged.
How does one organize a Bonanza?
- Those who are eager to arrange need to meet, discuss and write up a little about how they think and how they want to divide up the work.
- The facilitator of the group contacts events@turfgame.com and tells how they planned the event.
- If the event is accepted, the zones are planned and tested by the organizers before the event.
Bonanza and electric bikes
In order for all participants to be able to compete on the same terms, electric bicycles may not be used at a Bonanza Bike event. By competing here is meant to earn points to win prizes or to win one of the medals Bonanza Gold, Bonanza Silver or Bonanza Bronze which are awarded to those who get placement 1-3 at a Bonanza Bike event.
Anyone who, due to a disability, can only use an electric bicycle to be able to participate in a Bonanza Bike event can apply for an exemption from the ban on using an electric bicycle. The reasons for the application must be stated. Such an application can only be granted if the application intends to participate in the Bonanzan outside the competition. A participant who has been granted an exemption from the ban on using an electric bicycle is awarded the Bonanza Participator medal in the same way as all other participants.
The application for exemption is submitted to and examined by the Bonanza general for the current Bonanza.

These medals is awarded after a bonanza:
