This guide shows you how to make a bug report in the Turf Game Issue Tracking system.
How to find and comment on Issue reports created by others.
Here you also get information on how to find out if new Issue reports have been created and how to filter so that you only get information about new Issue reports concerning zones in "your" area. (Subscription)
Contents
Generally
Issue reports are made when there is something in the game that does not work as expected, such as apps, user accounts, the website, etc.
Zones
Issue reports can also be made on turf zones if, for example, they are located in inappropriate places, have an "incorrect" name, etc. See more about zone location here.
Medals
Error reporting is also done to get the Expandator medals. Read about how it works under each medal.
Create Issue report
First login at Turfgame.com
1. Go to Issues.
2. If needed, click on Login.
3. Click on Report.
4. Select what type of issue you want to report. For instance a zone issue.
5. Enter the name of the zone and click on Search for issues to see if there are any old issues.
If there is an old issue for the zone, you can add extra input for it. See how to do it here.
If there is no Issue report for the zone or if there are only old closed / out of date Issue reports, you can create a new one as below. Click on the text "Report new issue with this zone."
6. Add a short description and also detailed information about the issue.
Please be patient when submitting, because it sometimes takes a while before responding. Don’t click Submit
again.
After submitting the issue you can also add pictures to clarify even more.
There is a maximum size of 2 MB for each attachment.
Comment existing Issue report
Start by logging in to Turfgame.com and follow the instructions in points 1-5 of the Create Issue report above and then continue as below.
Click on the current Issue report and it will open so you can see what others have written about it.
At the bottom of the page, you can check boxes and write your own comments and attach pictures if you want. You can also choose to just tick one or both boxes, without writing any comments.
Click Submit to submit your comments and any files. Applies even if you "only" have ticked any of the boxes.
Subscription
It is possible to subscribe to Issue reports. You will receive an email when a new Issue report has been created. You choose which types of Issue reports you want to be informed about.
Here are instructions on how to set up the subscription so that it suits you.
Start by logging in at Turfgame.com
Then go to Issues as shown below.
Click Login if necessary.
Click on Subscriptions and the following page will appear.
Choose the type of Issue report you want to subscribe to by ticking the boxes.
When it comes to Issue reports about zones, it is possible to choose between all Issue reports or a limited area.
To be notified of every new Issue report concerning zones worldwide, tick "Zone Issue".
To restrict so that you only receive notification when it comes to zones near you, or any other area that interests you, untick "Zone Issue". Then select one or more regions in the lower box and click Subscribe at the bottom. Now your selected regions are visible in the upper pane. If you have chosen incorrectly or regret it, just mark the region you do not want included in the upper box and click Unsubscribe. If you want to add another region, just mark it in the lower box and click Subscribe again.
In Sweden, you can select one or more specific municipalities instead of a whole region if you want.
Important to remember to uncheck the "Zone Issue" box if you select a restricted area.
You can change or cancel your subscription at any time.
To end the subscription, deselect all types and select all regions / municipalities in the upper box (if there are any) and press Unsubscribe. Done.
