Hiking trails

Hiking trails are trampled, cleared and often marked footpaths intended for recreation and exercise, usually located in rural areas. Hiking trails are found in all continents except Antarctica.

In countries without the right to tread private land, hiking trails fulfill a more important function, indicate trails where you are allowed to hike.
