Frederiksberg is a municipality in the region of Hovedstaden (Capital of Denmark) in Denmark. The municipality has about 104,000 inhabitants and is located on Zealand.

The municipality is the smallest municipality in Denmark area-wise, the fifth most populous, and the most densely populated.

Location[edit]

The municipality is a enclave that is completely surrounded by the municipality of Copenhagen (København) and is located a couple of kilometers west of Copenhagen city center. It forms the district of Frederiksberg in the urban area Copenhagen (København).
