Pello is a municipality in the region of Lappi (Lapland) in Finland. The municipality has about 3 400 inhabitants.

Pelkosenniemi located in the northwestern part of Finland

Bordering municipalities are Kolari to the north, Rovaniemi to the east, Ylitornio to the south and to the west Pajala in Sweden.

The adminstrative center and only urban area is the Pello church village with 1 900 inhabitants.

There are two turfzones in Pello, where one is counted as a monument and one as a holy zone.

The most taken zone is Mäntyranta that is located by the statue of Eero Mäntyrantas.
