Observation towers

Visiting Observation towers or lookout towers can be considered one of nature tourism's earliest experience activities. When the towers around the turn of the last century began to be built to enable views, they did not move in the same way as we today. The possibilities for natural viewpoints were not as common as when we today travel much faster in prepared landscapes where views and nature experiences are an expected element.
