Jeollanam (South Jeolla) is one of 15 regions in South Korea. It is a province in the southwestern part of the country and has 1.9 million inhabitants.

Muan is the capital and has about 70,000 inhabitants.

The region encloses the region of Gwangju, adjacent regions are Jeollabuk in the north and Gyeongsangnam in the east. The province Jeju belongs to the region.
