The '''regionlord''' of a [[region]] is the [[turfer]] that owns the highest number of [[zones]] in a that region at the moment. Regionlords get five seconds shorter [[takeover time]]. In the Turf app, regionlordship is regionlords are indicated on the map by a crown on the avatars avatar's head, as shown belowin figure 1. Crowns are also used to show regionlordship on the leaderboard, as shown in figure 2.
