The regionlord of a region is the turfer that owns the highest number of zones in a that region at the moment. Regionlords get five seconds shorter takeover time. In the Turf app, regionlords are indicated on the map by a crown on the avatar's head, as shown below in figure 1. Crowns are also used to show regionlordship on the leaderboard, as shown in figure 2.
