höger

Ski slopes or piste, consists of sloping surfaces covered with natural or artificial snow, intended to perform / descend this ski or snowboard, within an alpine winter sports resort.

The word piste comes from the French, but also occurs in the German Skipiste, or in Austria Schipiste, and refers to a mountain area / slope, where the snow is prepared / packed to enable downhill skiing in some form (unprepared downhill skiing is called off-piste.)

Ski slopes are normally accessible by ski lift and if there are several slopes and lifts, the area is called a ski resort.[1]
