Swedish expressions[edit]

Swedish expressions, (translated) into English where possible.

A[edit]

  • Armhåleturfa - (Armpit turfing) - To block the GPS signal, for example by stopping your mobile in the armpit, to prevent the player symbol in the app from moving. The purpose is usually to get the player symbol to remain in a zone in order to be able to takeover the zone even though you have already left it, usually when traveling by public transport. 'Note' that this method is in the gray zone, as the turf unit is not physically in the zone the entire takeover time! However, it is a noble art to succeed in blocking the GPS signal at exactly the right moment, as the player symbol continues to move for a short time even after the blocking has been performed.
