The zone is located inside the ruin of a castle in Dufftown.
Balvenie Castle[edit]
The castle is owned and managed by the organisation Historic Scotland and it is necessary for non-members to pay a fee for entry. It is possible to take the zone from outside the castle walls when the castle is closed. As of March 2021 the castle has been closed for a year because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
