Dragsfjärd is a turfzone in the municipality of Kimitoön in the region of Lounais-Suomi (Southwestern Finland) in Finland. The zone is located in the county of Varsinais-Suomi and is counted as a holy zone.

Placement

The zone is placed outside the church of Dragsfjärd by the road "Kyrkobyvägen".

Dragsfjärd Church

There has been a chapel in Dragsfjärd since "ancient times". This chapel was however so badly damaged that it was demolished and replaced with a new church building in 1695 called Drage chapel. During the 18th century, the chapel became too small and a new church building was planned.

Dragsfjärd's current church was built by Anders Piimänen and inaugurated in 1755. It was named Adolf's church after the then king Adolf Fredrik of Sweden.

The cruciform church was originally painted red but has been repainted several times. The church received its current yellow color during the renovation in 1973.

Remotely placed nearest zone is Ölmos.
