The placeEdit

Jumble Hole Clough, formerly known as Blackshaw Clough, is a steep-sided wooded valley whose stream flows down to the River Calder. To the right of the zone, when looking up the clough, are the remains of Cow Bridge Cottages, which comprised five over/under dwellinghouses, or "top and bottom houses", constructed for the workers at the nearby mills.
