Jussizone is a turf zone in the municipality of Stockholm in the region of Stockholm in Sweden and is counted as a winner zone.
Placement[edit]
This winner zone is located on Jakobs torg, between Saint James's Church and the Royal Swedish Opera, in the city district of Norrmalm, in central Stockholm.
Jakobs Torg[edit]
Jakobs Torg is a triangular square on Norrmalm in Stockholm City Centre, framed by the Royal Swedish Opera, Saint James's Church and the House of Denmark. Along the west side runs Västra Trädgårdsgatan and to the east the square borders Kungsträdgården.
In the square, outside the church and facing the Opera, stands a bronze bust by Jussi Björling, sculpted by the Dutchman Pieter de Monchy in 1961 but erected in the square only in 1994, after more than thirty years in the Opera's possession.[1]
