Kynaston is a turf zone in the municipality of Moray in the region of Scotland in United Kingdom.

Placement[edit]

The zone is located on Craigellachie Bridge over the river Spey near Craigellachie. The zone is placed on the bridge which is open to pedestrians only. Car parking is available beside the bridge and in a layby beside the present day road bridge.

Craigellachie Bridge[edit]

The bridge was designed by celebrated architect Thomas Telford, and was until the 1970s the only crossing of the river Spey at this point. The zone name Kynaston comes from Plas Kynaston iron works in North Wales where the bridge was manufactured.
