StonesZone is a turf zone in the municipality of Västerås in the region of Västmanland in Sweden and is counted as a winner zone.
Placement[edit]
This winner zone is located in the middle of Djäknebron, a bridge with a wooden surface over the river Svartån, in the district Kyrkbacken, in central Västerås.
The zone is located along the bicycle route Mälardalsleden.
Sightseeing[edit]
From the zone you can of course see Svartån, but also the Cathedral and Skrapan in the distance.
Next to the bridge is a statue, Tvätterskan (Vardag) (English: The washerwoman (Everyday)), by the artist Yngve Andersson (1903-1988). Made of bronze in 1968.[1]
