TurkuArt[edit]

Turku Art Museum (Finnish: Turun taidemuseo) on the Puolala Hill is run by the Turku Art Association, which was founded in 1891. The museum has significant collections of art from the golden age of Finnish art, including works by Akseli Gallen-Kallela, Helene Schjerfbeck and Robert Wilhelm Ekman.

The museum building in national romantic style is designed by Gustaf Nyström. The building was donated to the city of Turku by the brothers Ernst and Magnus Dahlström, to be maintained by the city and used as the seat of the Art Association's museum activities. It was inaugurated in 1904 and underwent an extensive renovation in 1999–2005.

This zone is one of the originals in Turku from when Turf came to the city in 2012.
