Wiklöf Holding Arena[edit]

Wiklöf Holding Arena is a sports arena in central Mariehamn on Åland and is home to IFK Mariehamn and Åland United.

Wiklöf Holding Arena is located in Idrottsparken and was completed in 1932 and was inaugurated the following year. It was not until 1968 that the pitch was given full size thanks to one of IFK football's greats, Alf "Kiffa" Lindblad.

In the 2005 season, electric lights were installed at the pitch and after the season, the arena was rebuilt and had a capacity of 1,600 seats. At the same time, the arena got its new name after the Åland businessman Anders Wiklöf for five years because he sponsored the renovation.

In the autumn of 2019 - in the spring of 2020, the plan was enlarged so that it meets international requirements and was provided with heated artificial turf.

The dimensions of the lawn are 105 x 68 meters. At the facility there is also a gravel court with electric lights, an ice hockey hall and tennis courts. Official inauguration took place in connection with the league match IFK Mariehamn - HJK Helsinki 27 August 2006.
