Beaches

Beaches are usually natural or landscaped sand beaches, with associated areas adjacent. The bathing area is particularly suitable or adapted so that you can swim, sunbathe or just lie down.
In Sweden, public beaches are normally managed by the municipality. Municipal beaches have some form of car parking, as it is required to be able to stop and take a dip. A municipal beach usually has at least a jetty, lifebuoy and an associated lawn, but there are also bathing places available to the public that lack any form of facility or maintenance, such as natural beaches that are remote.
