Bridge zones

Symbol for a bridge zone.

Bridges are structures that lead traffic routes, such as roads, railways, canals or taxiways for flights over obstacles, such as intersecting roads, railways, streams, valleys or ravines. In turf, a bridge zone is a zone that is located on a bridge.

There are 3725 bridge zones in the world and most are in Sweden (1581), followed by the United Kingdom (1098) and Germany (219).

The most taken bridge zone is Valvzone, located in the municipality of Uppsala in the region Uppsala in Sweden.
