Georgia, (Georgian: საქართველო, Sakartvelo), is a country in eastern Europe and southwestern Asia, which has about 3.7 million inhabitants.
The capital and largest city is Tbilisi. Other major cities are Batumi, Kutaisi and Rustavi.
Georgia is located in Eastern Europe and Southwest Asia and borders the Black Sea to the west, Russia to the north and northeast, Turkey and Armenia to the south, and Azerbaijan to the southeast.
