Folk museums

Folk museums are older farms, or collections of buildings, which in most cases have been taken over by the local village/youth associations and are managed by the same, sometimes with public support.

In the folk museums, utensils and documentation from older times are stored and the houses can be typically furnished for specific time periods. Here you can collect information and stories about the area in times gone by, preferably in connection with study circles or association meetings. In connection with the homesteads, traditional parties are often arranged, for example at Christmas and Midsummer.
