Health Center

(Redirected from Health center)

The Health Centers function as a first level of care for patients who have diseases and ailments that are not of an immediate acute nature. In addition, the doctors at the health center often have an overall and coordinating responsibility for their patients and can, if necessary, refer them to other specialists for investigation and care. The health centers also handle laboratory examinations, recurrent blood pressure checks and other more or less routine care and examination interventions.
