Keminmaa is a municipality in the region of Lappi (Lapland) in Finland. The municipality has about 8 000 inhabitants.

The world's northernmost motorway runs between Keminmaa and Tornio.

Location[edit]

Keminmaa is located in the northwestern part of Finland.

Bordering municipalities are Tervola to the north, Tornio to the west, Simo to the east and Kemi to the south.

The administrative centre is Kemi central (also administrative centre for Kemi) with
7 058 inhabitants, the only other urban area is Koroiskylä.
