Pöytyä (Swedish:Pöytis) is a municipality in the region Lounais-Suomi located in the Southwest Finland region.
The municipality has a population of 8,325 (31 January 2019) and covers an area of 773.69 square kilometres (298.72 sq mi) of which 23.68 km2 (9.14 sq mi) is water. The population density is 11.1 inhabitants per square kilometre (29/sq mi). The municipality is unilingually Finnish.
Pöytyä's neighbouring municipalities are Aura, Eura, Lieto, Loimaa, Marttila, Mynämäki, Oripää and Säkylä.
