Vejle is a municipality in the region of Syddanmark (Southern Denmark) in Denmark. The municipality has about 115,000 inhabitants and is located in the northern part of the region.

Location[edit]

The municipality has Vejle Fjord in the east and adjacent municipalities are, Fredericia in the southeast, Kolding in the south, Vejen in the southwest and Billund in the west, all in the region Syddanmark (Southern Denmark). In addition, it borders Ikast-Brande municipality in the north and Hedensted municipality in the northeast, both in the region Midtjylland (Central Denmark).

Urban areas[edit]

The main town and largest urban area is Vejle.
