Blekinge is one of 21 regions in Sweden. The region corresponds to Blekinge County in the south of Sweden.
It borders on the counties of Skåne in the west, Kronoberg and Kalmar in the north and the Baltic Sea in south and east.
The capital is Karlskrona.
It is the smallest of the present administrative counties of Sweden, covering only 0.7% of the total area.
