Dalarna is one of 21 regions in Sweden. The region corresponds to the county with the same name, which is located in middle Sweden.
It borders the counties (and regions) of Jämtland in the north, Gävleborg in the east, Västmanland and Örebro in the south, Värmland in the southwest and Østlandet (Eastern Norway) in Norway in west.
