Turf Performance of the Year 2019[edit]

Kygni ---- Nominated for being the first and so far only turfer who has taken more than two million points in one round. The fact that he achieved this feat by taking multiple unique and spectacular water and swamp zones makes this accomplishment much more impressive. He was cheered on by fans and spectators who were able to track his progress on "Turf TV".
Király ---- Nominated for having a fighting spirit. In addition to participating in the normal Turfer activities, he competed in a class of his own. In 2019, he set the record for most gold medals in addition to setting records for the most silver and bronze medals as well.
M0112 ---- Nominated for being the first Turfer outside Sweden to win a one month round. In addition, he has also won two gold medals in a row. M0112 also completed the impressive coup of winning the Finnish Country Medal in every round of 2019.
GW007 ---- Nominated for his tireless turfing at an elite level round after round. In 2019 this pleasant Turfer stayed in the elite series during the whole year and ended up on the world top 10 list for 8 months.
recycling ---- Nominated for having taken 1,116 zones in one day and achieved 1,000 unique zones in a single round. He also completed the mind-boggaling triumph of taking 10,000 unique and 100,000 takes in a single zone takeover. To top is all off, recycling broke the beaver record by taking 10 zones in 4 minutes and 46 seconds!

whitebike ---- Nominated for being a newcomer who has taken more than 3 million points and 17,000 zones in one year, allowing for him to advance from from Novice Scout to rank 46 Turf Preacher in 2019 (nominated by crew).
Lagavulin8 ---- Nominated for having taken 2,070 unique zones during his first year as a Turfer (nominated by crew).
Stebe ---- Nominated for as a beginner in February having collected over 200,000 points per month and thus accumulate more than 2,100,000 and 10,000 takes in 2019.
karmor ---- Nominated for having earned more than 1,680,000 points in the short period of time from summer to the end of 2019.
Cissiliana ---- Nominated for starting turf on Easter and while taking more than 1,000 zones managed to forget the family sitting at home waiting.

kamikatze ---- Nominated for the time when she noticed that a Turfer was standing still in the Gothenburg forest for a long time. She alerted rescue personnel and then assisted in loacating the stranded Turfer.
HappyF ---- Nominated for providing the excellent and constantly evolving statistics site turf.lundkvist.com
Gor ---- Nominated for appearing as a steamroller at Turfwiki with daily articles and for updating many old articles in the archive.
Fiona ---- Nominated for her great commitment to starting up the Östergötland Turf Association and for always being positive and inspiring.
ZoneBanger ---- Nominated to have exemplarily led the work of forming the association of Turf Västerbotten as well as organizing events and missions.

JKJE ---- Nominated for trudging out to take the zone Midisland, with only a two hour margin. He had failed to take this zone, on two previous attempts. The zone is located on an island in the middle of Vättern and had not been taken in five years.
RiddervanMyyl ----Nominated for the feat of trekking out on on a dark night in May, walking through dunes and cold water up to the armpits, to take the zone TäljeTräsk.
bilgur ---- Nominated for taking the Bridge fanatic medal by taking three bridges at high speed within 10 minutes during a trip on Arlanda Express in March 2019.
allinug ---- Nominated for having sailed out to to a little island with a “borrowed” skiff (which had been unlocked) using nothing but a billboard as a paddle to take the zone ÖnÖn, in the lake Sjön, in the city of Lund.
Kygni ---- Nominated for taking the difficult zone Kobbezone and for taking the zone Seglaren in December by swimming out only wearing underwear.
