Turf Performance of the Year 2022[edit]

SimmaLugnt ---- Nominated for earning the medal Dark Ninja (three zones between 2am and 3 am) by swimming.
Király ---- Nominated for being the first turfer to reach level 60 in the game.
féarglas ---- Nominated for breaking the record for the points earned in a single round, 2.725M, and winning her third gold of the year. Reaching rank 59 in only 27 rounds.
MrAce ---- Nominated for winning the gold medal in July by taking over 400 zones every day (a Staminatrix medal!) and also by taking the record for amount of zones taken in one round, 15 103 zones. This also lead to more than 2 million points which only four people yet have reached.
allinug ---- Nominated for taking 6 Explorer Medals during only three months: Sweden, Finland, Norway, Denmark, Netherlands and Germany. This was done by foot, bike, boat, bus and train.

DasHuhn ---- Nominated for being a very enthusiastic German 9 year old turfer who took his first 2 Region-medals 2022 and ended the year as the 79:th turfer in the December 2022 round.
viking64 ---- Nominated for climbing quickly in the leagues
my_moment ---- Nominated for Contributing almost 500k points for Norrbotten in the Region battle in September.

PlanetGary ---- Nominated for being an active Turf blogger who has now also started Turf video blogging on youtube.
Kygni ---- Nominated for having arranged Turf meetings and several events after a long period of absence in Luleå. In addition, he talked about Turf on the regional radio.
LeiLar ---- Nominated for having his 80th birthday this year but is still perhaps the most active and persistent turfer in Västerbotten. Spreads joy and pushes for Turf in all contexts and contributes with a record number of issues for improvements of the game.
0beroff ---- Nominated for not only being a turfer with capacity and tenacity beyond the ordinary, but also for always being nice and helpful.
féarglas ---- Nominated for being a person who spreads joy at events and in the chat and contributes to Turf becoming more attractive.

Kaktus-Mats ---- Nominated for managing to take the zone TigerWoods from his own ambulance ride.
Strac ---- Nominated for Buying a kayak and a life vest to paddle out into the North Sea to get the Order of Aquamen medal and then lent his kayak to the next turfer.
LeiLar ---- Nominated for taking the zone NothingFancy that was used as snow deposition during winter, and a huge snow heap made it hard to take. A cave was dug in the snow heap and LeiLar used this cave to take the zone laying on his back.
Florenskan ---- Nominated for finding a lost turfer in the deep forrest, who could end the conversation with 112 as Florenskan finds him thanks to the app. An assist takes place in the in the light of her headlamp in the zone LunsensVästra.
Kygni ---- Nominated for swimming across a part of the Piteå River that was not frozen on May 1st in to the zone 'Fingerman' from the zone 'PitePir' and swam back.
