Turf Ultimate Region Fight 2024

Turf Ultimate Region Fight 2024 was a region battle during round 171 between eleven teams but 14 regions participated. The teams competed in three categories: Points, Takes and Round Unique Zones. The competition consisted of five sub-competitions, each individual week plus the total at the end of the round. Every Sunday at 12 o'clock (CET), the teams' placements in the three categories were checked.

It was the Norrbotten region that took home the victory.

Score calculation

The position is determined by the team's average points as the teams are different sizes. Points are awarded per category in this way:

Points is handed out for every week and the total in every category according to the list below:

• 1th place get 11 points
• 2th place get 10 points
• 3th place get 9 points
• 4th place get 8 points
• 5th place get 7 points
• 6th place get 6 points
• 7th place get 5 points
• 8th place get 4 points
• 9th place get 3 points
• 10th place get 2 points
• 11th place get 1 points
• 12th place get 0 points

Thus, a team can take a maximum of 33 points in a week if that team wins all the categories. When the round is over, it is also calculated which team has scored the most Points, Takes and Round Unique Zones during the entire round. Points are then awarded for the round per category according to the same scale. That is, the team that made the most Takes during the entire round now gets another 11 points for it. A team's final points can now be calculated by adding their points in each category from the four weeks + the whole round.

There is a minimum number of turf players needed in the team for the regions to participate. All Turfers after the minimum number will contribute to making the team's "red line" bigger. The red line will count out all turfers below it. For example, if a region has a minimum number of 25 turfers but the team is 47 turfers, the 22 turfers with the lowest points, takes and round uniques will not count towards the team's average. This means that if you are not a big turf fan, as long as you have crossed the red line a few weeks in some category, you have contributed. Everyone can join and you can be as many as you want. The team's average points, takes and round uniques are always counted on the minimum number of contestants for the region.
