Round champions[edit]
In the beginning of this round we could early see that Tturf from Örebro intended to reach the Gold medal he miss in his collection and after two weeks it certainly looked like he would make it with a lead of almost 100 000 points. But after that he stopped and the currently most active turfer in Dalarna dekatomas passed him and reached the Gold medal which was the only round medal missing for him as well. On second place we find ~Sisyfos~ from Stockholm and on third place TXL from Skåne, both the silver and bronze medalists were chased by the Turf God Snusmumriken but after she went to the Netherlands in the ending of the round ~Sisyfos~ was able to secure the second place and TXL was able to pass her in the last few days with just 8 000 points. Congratulations to top 3 and thank you for the show!
Walking turfers[edit]
I would also like to mention the champions of the walking contest that anyone can attend in the forum. Only walking and running players are allowed and this round DIProgan was the winner on 163 946 points, on second place we find Heureka on 159 383 points and on third place LMA on 132 571 points. I have participated in this contest once and was far from reaching 100 000 points so I'm impressed! If you think that you can beat them by foot I dare you to try!

Upcoming events[edit]
There have been a lot of events this summer and it is not over yet. This round we have the oldest classic event in Jönköping, Turf Open Jönköping the 8th of august and in the end of this round Kalmar is arranging Turf Sea Challange, a water event where the participants will be racing in canoes. Read more about these events in the forums.
Application development[edit]
The development of the supporter beta application for Android user continues and hopefully we will reach version 1.0 soon. There has been some questions about what will happen when that time comes and I will try to sort it out for you. When the turf developers are satisfied with the supporter beta application it will be released for free on Google Play and will then replace the 0.9.7.1 version which is the one you can find on Google Play today. The iOS application which today have some of the features that todays Google Play version of android is missing and are missing some other features which is standard for android will also be upgraded to look almost similar to the 1.0 android version.
At this time when the applications will be free for everyone to download we will most certainly need some new futures to attract more supporters. One first step is already online and supporters who visit turfgame.com/map can find a small checkbox in the top left corner of the map (requires you to be logged in). With this function you can see all the unique zones in the world which you have visited so far.
