IlosaariZone is a turf zone in the municipality of Joensuu in the region of Itä-Suomi in Finland. The zone is located in the province of Pohjois-Karjala.
Placement[edit]
This zone is placed at the Ilosaari beach, on the island of Ilosaari that is located in the Pieli River in Joensuu city center.
Ilosaari[edit]
The island's area is 1.7 hectares and its maximum length is 210 meters in a southwest-northeast direction. The music festival Ilosaarirock was organized on the island between 1971 and 1991. Today the festival is arranged at Laulurinne.
