KannelmKirkko is a turf zone in the municipality of Helsinki (Helsingfors) in the region of Etelä-Suomi (Southern Finland) in Finland. The zone is located in the province of Uusimaa and is counted as a holy zone.

Placement[edit]

This zone is placed by the Kannelmäki church in the Kannelmäki district, in the northern part of Helsinki.

Kannelmäki church[edit]

Kannelmäki church (Finnish: Kannelmäen kirkko), is a church building in the Kannelmäki district of Helsinki. The church is used jointly by the Finnish-speaking Kannelmäen seurakunta and the Swedish-speaking Petrus parish.

The church was built between 1967 and 1968 according to drawings by the architects Marjatta and Martti Jaatinen. The church is built of concrete and can accommodate about 500 people. In the annex of the church there is a chapel and meeting rooms. In 1997, a renovation was carried out when the outer walls and windows were renewed.
