Placement[edit]

The zone is located on the Pennine Way west of Halifax.

Follow the Pennine Way north west from the A646 at Underbank Avenue, Callis, or the Pennine Bridleway north west from the A646 at Jumble Hole Road. The Chapel is where the two paths intersect.

Sightseeing[edit]

Situated in Jumble Hole woods, there are views beyond the trees towards the Calder Valley and the surrounding moors, as well as the Stoodley Pike monument.

(The place)[edit]

Mount Olivet, Old Naze, or Naze Bottom Baptist Chapel was only used for a short period between 1842 and 1909, after which time the congregation moved down to Halifax Road. The building was demolished in about 1946, but the small graveyard still contains a number of graves.
