TarBridge is a turfzone in the municipality of Helsinki in the region of Etelä-Suomi (Southern Finland) in Finland. The zone is located in the province of Uusimaa and is counted as a bridge zone.
Placement[edit]
This zone is placed on a small bridge on the island Tervasaari ("Tar Island") that is connected by a pier to Kruununhaka district. There is a small bay on Tervasaari, this small "Tar bridge" connects the points of the bay.
Tervasaari[edit]
Tervasaaro or "Tar Island" got its name from fact that merchants in Helsinki used store Tar here meant for export. Today will find a restaurant, beach, playground, dogpark and a summer theater here.
