Lite förvirrande blir det med länen som heter samma som en kommun/stad, t.ex. Jönköping, Kalmar, Stockholm, Uppsala och Örebro. I Turf-appen och i statistiken på hemsidan syftar dessa namn på regionen. På TurfWiki syftar dessa sidor också på regionerna med dessa namn, medan motsvarande kommun skrivs ut med regionsnamn, t.ex. Stockholm, Stockholm för kommunen "Stockholms stad".
