Round winners[redigera]

Congratulations to the winners of round 148: féarglas from Scotland added another Gold medal to her medal suite, Király from Skåne had to make do with a Silver medel and MrJokerit from Göteborg biked home the Bronze medal. Well done mates!

In last Turf Insider it was wrongfully stated that Gallant was from Skåne, he belongs on the east side of Sweden, in beautiful, flat Kalmar :)

Upcoming events:[redigera]

On the 10th of December you can head up to the dark Northern Sweden for LuleXmasBike in Luleå. It will take place during the few light hours of the day at this time of the year.

The same December weekend, but on Sunday the 11th, Lusseturf will take place for the 10th time in Västerås. Don't miss out on the best “julTurf-fika”! It will be held at the same place as previous years, the zone Orientalen. Keep an eye out for more information on Turfs homepage and on Facebook!

Bonanza 2023 in Umeå[redigera]

Turf Västerbotten is in the thick of planning the Bonanza 2023. It will be held on the 20th of May with events in two classes, a Bonanza banquet and lots of other fun activites, I am sure. The Bonanza page is up and running and more information will be added as the organizers are getting organized. HERE.

Turf Advent Calendars[redigera]

Next round, which takes place during December, will have at least two Turf Advent Calendars running.

Turf Skåne is organizing an advent calendar that begins on the 1st of December with a Turf-related task to perform every day. It will all be up and running by December 1st on Turf Skåne's homepage, HERE. The Calendar is only in Swedish and you don't need to sign up for it. Every day after completing the task, you fill out a form and at the end of the calendar, a small prize will be raffled out among those that got all daily challenges correct.

The second Advent calendar running is organized by Örebro Turfers and will be running from first of Advent to just before Christmas. The Calendar is still under construction, so more information will follow both in social media and on Örebro Turfers home page, HERE. For this calendar you will have to pre-register in order to take part in it with a chance to win.

In Västerås they had a special event on the 10th of October, when MrAce's winner zone from round 145 went live. Over 25 turfers came to be among the first ones to take the zone by the water. Coffee, buns and cookies was offered and fun was had under a blue sky.

Winter has arrived in the north of Sweden, and I would in other parts of the Turf world as well. Days are getting shorter and more of us are turfing in the dark. Don't forget lights on your bike and use reflective bands or clothing on yourself. In the dark you are very invisible without the extra lights or reflective gear. Be safe, be seen!

Turf-Glögg in Uppsala for the 9th time[redigera]

On the 24th of November the annual Turf-glögg takes place in Uppsala in the zone WaterWorld. It will start at 6 pm and for about one hour there will be several different kinds of glögg, ginger bread cookies, Santa-mallows ("skumtomtar" in Swedish) and cold turfers present. Everyone is welcome, but bring warm clothes since this zone has been dubbed “coldest zone in Uppsala” by the participants of the previous 8 times this evernt has taken place :)

Did you know...

...you can find a free, hopefully working, bicycle pump at [gratisluft.se gratisluft.se]? For now it has only information about pumps in Sweden, but there is a feature to add a pump if you think one is missing. Today the site is only in Swedish.

Turf Picture of the Month[redigera]

This months Turf Picture is of the zone Uimaranta taken by FilleFilur.

If you have a Zone picture you want featured as Turf Picture of the Month, send it to insider@turfgame.com Please include your Turf nick for recognition!

And finally a green heart from Berlin, welcoming all turfers to Berlin anytime :) #turflove
