Baden-Württemberg is a region in southwestern Germany. The region encompasses the bundesland with the same name and has about 11 miljon inhabitants. Bordering regions are Rheinland-Pfalz in the northwest, Hessen in the north, Bayern in the east, Switzerland in the south and France in the west.
