Johan Emil Sarlin (1875-1965) was managing director for "Pargas Kalkbergs Aktiebolag" that today is the Nordkalk company between 1904-1955. He was a member of the Finnish Parliament 1930-33 and received a Honorary Doctorate from the University of Åbo Akademi 1948.
