Enclave
An enclave is a piece of land that lies within the borders of one state but belongs to another state, or in itself is its own state. The area is called the enclave of the state in which it is surrounded. If the enclave belongs to an area outside the state in which it is located, it is at the same time an exclave from the point of view of the owning state. The terms can also refer to connections to administrative areas other than states.
