Congratulations to the winners of [[round 148]]: [[User:féarglas|féarglas]] from [[Region:Scotland|Scotland]] added another [[Gold medal]] to her medal suite, [[User:Király|Király]] from [[Region:Skåne|Skåne]] had to make do with a [[Silver medel]] and [[User:MrJokerit|MrJokerit]] from [[Municipality:Göteborg|Göteborg]] biked home the [[Bronze medal]]. Well done mates!
In last [[Turf insider|Turf Insider]] it was wrongfully stated that [[User:Gallant|Gallant]] was from [[Region:Skåne|Skåne]], he belongs on the east side of [[Country:Sweden|Sweden]], in beautiful, flat [[Region:Kalmar|Kalmar]] :)
==Upcoming events:==
On the 10th of December you can head up to the dark Northern [[Country:Sweden|Sweden]] for [[Event:LuleXmasBike|LuleXmasBike]] in [[Municipality:Luleå|Luleå]]. It will take place during the few light hours of the day at this time of the year.
The same December weekend, but on Sunday the 11th, [[Event:Lusseturf 2022|Lusseturf]] will take place for the 10th time in [[Municipality:Västerås|Västerås]]. Don't miss out on the best “julTurf-fika”! It will be held at the same place as previous years, the zone [[Zone:Orientalen|Orientalen]]. Keep an eye out for more information on Turfs homepage and on Facebook!

[[Turf Västerbotten]] is in the thick of planning the [[Bonanza:Umeå 2023|Bonanza 2023]]. It will be held on the 20th of May with events in two classes, a Bonanza banquet and lots of other fun activites, I am sure. The Bonanza page is up and running and more information will be added as the organizers are getting organized. [https://www.turfvasterbotten.se/bonanza/ HERE].
==Turf Advent Calendars==
Next round, which takes place during December, will have at least two Turf Advent Calendars running.
[[Turf Skåne]] is organizing an advent calendar that begins on the 1st of December with a Turf-related task to perform every day. It will all be up and running by December 1st on [[Turf Skåne]]'s homepage, [https://turfskane.com/ HERE]. The Calendar is only in Swedish and you don't need to sign up for it. Every day after completing the task, you fill out a form and at the end of the calendar, a small prize will be raffled out among those that got all daily challenges correct.
The second Advent calendar running is organized by [[Örebro Turfers]] and will be running from first of Advent to just before Christmas. The Calendar is still under construction, so more information will follow both in social media and on Örebro Turfers home page, [https://orebro-turfers.webnode.se/ HERE]. For this calendar you will have to pre-register in order to take part in it with a chance to win.
In [[Municipality:Västerås|Västerås they had a special event on the 10th of October, when [[User:MrAce|MrAce's]] winner zone from [[round 146]] went live. Over 25 turfers came to be among the first ones to take the zone by the water. Coffee, buns and cookies was offered and fun was had under a blue sky.

Winter has arrived in the north of [[Country:Sweden|Sweden]], and I would in other parts of the Turf world as well. Days are getting shorter and more of us are turfing in the dark. Don't forget lights on your bike and use reflective bands or clothing on yourself. In the dark you are very invisible without the extra lights or reflective gear. Be safe, be seen!
==Turf-Glögg in Uppsala for the 9th time==
On the 24th of November the annual Turf-glögg takes place in [[Municipality:Uppsala|Uppsala]] in the zone [[Zone:WaterWorld|WaterWorld]]. It will start at 6 pm and for about one hour there will be several different kinds of glögg, ginger bread cookies, Santa-mallows ("skumtomtar" in Swedish) and cold turfers present. Everyone is welcome, but bring warm clothes since this zone has been dubbed “coldest zone in [[Municipality:Uppsala|Uppsala]]” by the participants of the previous 8 times this evernt has taken place :)

...you can find a free, hopefully working, bicycle pump at [gratisluft.se gratisluft.se]? For now it has only information about pumps in [[Country:Sweden|Sweden]], but there is a feature to add a pump if you think one is missing. Today the site is only in Swedish.
