Simo is a municipality in the region of Lappi (Lapland) in Finland. The municipality has about 3 000 inhabitants.

Simo is located in the northwestern part of Finland.
Bordering municipalities are Kemi and Keminmaa to the west, Tervola to the north, Ranua to the east and Ii ("Ijo") to the south.
