Balvenie is a turf zone in the municipality of Moray in the region of Scotland in United Kingdom.
Placement
The zone is located inside the ruin of a castle in Dufftown.
Balvenie Castle
The castle is owned and managed by the organisation Historic Scotland and it is necessary for non-members to pay a fee for entry. It is not possible to take the zone from outside the castle walls. As of March 2021 the castle has been closed for a year because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
