Balvenie is a turf zone in the municipality of Moray in the region of Scotland in United Kingdom.
Placement
The zone is located inside the ruin of a castle in Dufftown.
Balvenie Castle
The castle is owned and managed by the organisation Historic Scotland and it is necessary for non-members to pay a fee for entry. It is possible (but very difficult) to take the zone from outside the castle walls when the castle is closed. As of March 2021 the castle has been closed for a year because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
