This zone is placed on a small skerry belonging to a group of skerrys called "Svenska Björn" at the very far end of the [[nature reserve]] of Svenska Björn in the outskirts of the [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stockholm_Archipelago Stockholm Archipelago] in the [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baltic_Sea Baltic Sea]. == Svenska Björn ==Svenska Björn is a [[nature reserve]] in Stockholm's northern archipelago in the [[Municipality: Norrtälje|Norrtälje]] municipality. The reserve is 39.8 km² large and includes the skerrys Ytter-Tridingen, Tomasesberget, Norrgrund, Norrkobbarna, Humlorna, Ytterberget and Svenska Björn. Geographically, the area is the northern end of Svenska Vallen. The area became a nature reserve in 1983, mainly to protect the gray seal's reproduction, but also hatching Common eider and wintering Long-tailed duck enjoy protection in the area. Access bans apply February 1 - August 15.
